L&#039;acier Q235 a une faible teneur en carbone (0,3% \u00e0 0,4%), tandis que l&#039;acier Q355 a un pourcentage plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 (0,6% \u00e0 1%).<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Acier Q235 : Ce type d&#039;acier est \u00e9galement connu sous le nom d&#039;acier \u00ab \u00e0 faible teneur en carbone \u00bb ou \u00ab de qualit\u00e9 \u00bb et il est couramment utilis\u00e9 \u00e0 des fins structurelles, telles que les poutres en I ou les sections de canal, o\u00f9 la r\u00e9sistance et la ductilit\u00e9 sont requises mais la soudabilit\u00e9 n&#039;est pas n\u00e9cessaire.<\/p><ul><li><strong>Limite d&#039;\u00e9lasticit\u00e9<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">La principale diff\u00e9rence entre ces deux types d&#039;acier r\u00e9side dans leur limite d&#039;\u00e9lasticit\u00e9. La limite d&#039;\u00e9lasticit\u00e9 mesure la quantit\u00e9 de contrainte qu&#039;un mat\u00e9riau peut supporter avant de commencer \u00e0 se d\u00e9former de mani\u00e8re plastique (c&#039;est-\u00e0-dire de mani\u00e8re permanente). Il est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement utilis\u00e9 pour les poutres ou les colonnes qui ne sont pas expos\u00e9es \u00e0 de fortes contraintes ou \u00e0 de lourdes charges.<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">L&#039;acier Q355 est plus r\u00e9sistant que le Q235 et peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 dans des situations o\u00f9 les contraintes sont plus extr\u00eames ou les charges plus lourdes. On le trouve g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement dans les pi\u00e8ces qui n\u00e9cessitent un niveau de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 plus \u00e9lev\u00e9, comme les poutres, les colonnes ou les connexions \u00e0 la base d&#039;un b\u00e2timent.
