Adjustable steel columns are a steel structure used in house construction to provide secondary support for room additions, remodeling projects, porches and decks. Designed as permanent building columns, adjustable steel columns are made from durable steel, are secure and stable, fully assembled with no loose parts and are perfect for correcting sagging floors and basement beams.

APAC’s adjustable steel columns have long been known for their ease of installation. They can be installed by one worker in approximately 15 minutes. Tamper-proof adjustment – after correct installation, the poured concrete floor permanently locks the column adjustment.

APAC produces adjustable steel columns with a corrosion resistant powder coating exceeding ASTM-B117_85 for greater durability. The adjustable steel columns are delivered to the user as fully assembled self-contained units, ensuring that the user can use them with confidence. Thanks to our design, APAC’s adjustable steel columns are easier to store, install and adjust.

Fully compliant with ICC-ESR-1767 and IBC and IRC building codes, APAC Adjustable Steel Columns are adjustable for renovation and new home construction and are ideal for permanent support in crawl spaces, under windows and in tight spaces.

APAC Adjustable Steel Columns are made by 76mm (3”) diameter with a wall thickness of 3.5mm (11 Gauge) pipes. Or 89mm(3½”)diameter with a wall thickness of 3.8mm (9 Gauge) pipes.

APAC Adjustable Steel Columns are manufactured in 3” length increments and in a variety of sizes to meet your specifications.
