The Timber Beam Clamp for formwork edge protection is designed to be fixed to H20 beams. We have the clamps for 40mm width and 60mm width beams.
The aluminum beam clamp for formwork edge protection is adjustable, and suitable for 60mm to 150mm width aluminum beams. APAC aluminum beam clamps match various Formwork decking systems, we have engineered the clamps to fit various sizes of aluminum beam extrusion sections.
Before installation of formwork edge protection, the webs and ends of the beams should be inspected for damage or deformation. After checking that the beam is securely fastened to the scaffold/formwork structure, the clamps for formwork edge protection can be fixed according to APAC’s instructions. The center of the clamps should be at least 150mm from the end of the beam.
The horizontal spacing of clamps should be in accordance with APAC recommendations, and clamps for formwork edge protection should be fixed only on beams at right angles to the direction of the grid barrier.
